locally owned business in Lawrence, Kansas. Since 1990, our staff of professional
seamstresses has provided the Lawrence area with quality service and a friendly
attitude. We specialize in in-house alterations on all formal wear, men's and
women's clothing, and more. Aneita's will happily take care of anything from
wedding gowns to tailoring a suit to fixing a favorite pair of jeans. We also have
one of the largest selection of tuxedos in the area. We provide 2 dressing rooms and
will gladly measure your garments on site. If your formal dress already fits, Aneita's
also offers steaming and bustling. There is no appointment necessary, so stop in
your for a free estimate. ********* Aneita's Alterations & Sew Forth opened January 1st, 1990. The business, which was on the corner of 19th and Massachusetts Streets, was originally known as "The Shop" and opened in 1979. Aneita joined the staff in 1985 and bought the business 5 years later. She still owns and operates the store today. Aneita's Alterations moved to the Hillcrest Shopping Center in 1997, where it is still located. The move allowed the business to expand and introduce tuxedo rentals. Aneita's Alterations is still going strong and leading Lawrence in quality alterations. |
