How Early should I reserve my tuxedo?

For less stress and better selection, it is recommended that you reserve you wedding tuxedos three to six months ahead, and make sure that all of your groomsmen have been measured 1 to 2 months ahead.  Prom tuxedos should be reserved at least 4 weeks ahead to ensure best selection, although we can order tuxedos in sooner if necessary.

When should I bring in my wedding gown?

We suggest that you bring in your wedding dress three to four weeks before your wedding. This is especially important if multiple fittings are necessary. All other formal gowns should be brought in at least three weeks ahead. Remember, the sooner you can bring them in, the better.

How long do alterations typically take?

Most normal alterations take about a week to ten days to complete. Some jobs may require extra time. Rush jobs are also available for an extra 30% fee.

Do you custom make garments?

No, we only perform alterations here. We do not make anything new.

Do you embroider or monogram?

No, we do not do any embroidery.

Do I need to make an appointment?

No appointments are necessary. It is recommended, however, that you call ahead if you are bringing in a wedding or formal gown.

Should I wash my clothes before I bring them in?

Yes, it is our policy that garments must be clean prior to alterations. It is also to your benefit to wash new clothes before alterations to make sure that they are not going to shrink
